The laws of gravity, as well as the relaxation of the skin, have their inevitable effects. The breasts, such as any other organ, suffer changes in their shape with the passing of time and have a natural tendency to sag.
The Mastopexy allows the elevation and improvement of the shape of breasts that are sagging and flaccid and which only require a lift and fixation. This elevation of the breast is made through a circular incision in the areola and a vertical incision down to the sub-breast fold. In many cases it is necessary to place a prosthesis to increase the volume of the breast.
